the curious case of the button collector

It's well known that crows have a fondness for shiny items. Thieves of many beautiful things, they've managed to steal both precious and silly items that sparkle. What is less known is that they also help themselves to mundane, everyday items. Ever resourceful, perhaps best exemplified by a suburban corvid creature that built a nest out of clothes hangers, they are prolific and openminded collectors.
